Samples collected with the Sequential Spot Sampler™ particle collector can be easily extracted and analyzed all through a widely used robust and reliable autosampler. The PAL™ LSI Autosampler provides sample handling configured for sample liquid injection based applications, such as ion chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatography. Other autosampler configurations are also available.

With moderated, laminar-flow condensation particle growth, the Spot Sampler gently deposits aerosol particles as concentrated ~1-mm diameter “spots” in a custom, multi well sample plate. Up to 32 time resolved samples are easily transported with minimal handling from the field to the laboratory. The sample plate is placed directly into the PAL Autosampler for automated sample extraction and analysis. By running a pre-determined analytical method, the autosampler can run all samples without the need for personnel intervention or sampler preparation prior to analysis.
